march..

mom and i were going through the photos on her computer today, and guess what we found?
these photos that were taken exactly a year ago this weekend:







i was so cute then..

but mom and i can't believe that those photos were taken in march of last year.. this is what march looks like this year:

busy bone..

mom gave me and fergie each a busy bone. she doesn't usually give us these kind of treats, but she said that we deserved a treat this week.

we don't get these treats often because i get too nervous when i get them. my ears go back, and i can't relax.. i have to protect the bone from people and other animals that will try and steal them from me..

and here i am, after having the bone for an hour.. see how i'm protecting it, but i can't relax? i hadn't even licked the bone yet..
mom said that i fell asleep with my head resting on the bone..

mom's wedding shower

i'm pretty mad at mom because i wanted to post about her shower party that was the other weekend.. but she forgot to take pictures, and says that she is waiting for her friends to send her photos..

today someone sent her a couple of photos. so i was happy that i could finally tell you about the party.. but *all* the of the photos that my mom got have fergie in them, and not me!!

in case you didn't notice, the blog is called "my name is bt" not "my name is fergie"

mom said that everyone took photos of fergie because she matched, and not because they liked her more than they liked me.. and i think that this is true, because i am such a nice boy! (the shower was a black and white and pink theme, and everyone had to dress in those 3 colours - so fergie wore her pink collar but i had to wear my red one)

so i can't show you any photos of my fun at the shower. and i did have fun. there was cheese and carrots and other goodies that fell on the floor - woo!!

grandma said before the shower that i was going to have to stay upstairs for the whole party because i might be "too much" for the ladies.. but i ended up staying downstairs THE WHOLE TIME! i was a good boy, mom said..

i'll show you the photos of fergie, and you have to imagine me there, being a good boy (the *only* boy invited to the party) and charming all the ladies!

it's a photo of my dad's face on a muscle-guy.. the ladies at the party had to put a lips sticker on the body part that they thought my mom most loves to kiss..

5. more fergie.. this time with mom. mom wants me to write that this was the end of the shower, and all her lipstick was kissed off, and that she looks pretty bad in this photo.. but i wont write that.

i've been reading everyone's blogs about making something.. this is my contribution!

for this, i enlisted fergie's help - it's a double dog job..

mom's been talking about getting new floors in the house - so fergie and i made some!
we didn't tell mom that we were going to do it.. it was a surprise!




here we are, laying it down.. fergie adds a red blanket, for a carpety-like feel, while i try to recycle and use flyers to create the perfect floor. i had to jump up and grab the papers off of the counter, since mom doesn't usually let us near them..

and here we are, with our finished product - ta da!!




mom didn't like it as much as we did.. fergie and i are proud of it though..

anyone else want some new flooring in their house?

looks like a bunch of silly photos if you ask me - but look closer - there i am!! (and fergie too)

mom said you could have me on your flair too, if you wanted! (if you're into that sort of thing. i don't understand it...) you can search for boston terriers on there.. she said that there were a few other bostons on the flair site. if you're on there, let me know and i'll totally make mom put you up on her flair.


mom's shower is on sunday. that means party. that means snacks!!
she says that boys aren't invited but she'll make an exception for me, since i'm her favouritest ever and ever..

i really hope that there is cheese.

it's waaaay too cold outside..

i'm taking up hibernating..

i told you..

yesterday i mentioned how much snow we have.. i'll post some photos to prove it. mom said that it's supposed to snow two more times in the next few days - this is driving me crazy!

anyway, here i am in the backyard:



mom is on the deck, and i'm on the ground. see how high the snow is?! how can i chase squirrels in this snow?! i don't know if you can tell, but mom shoveled my run to the back tree and fence, since that's where the squirrels like to hide..

okay, i'll tell you a quick story. me and fergie were in the backyard, as you can see.. i'm watching out for squirrels, and notice that fergie has run back inside:



i finish my squirrel sweep and come back inside too..



and what do i find?!

see how the bed i'm in is much smaller than the one that fergie is in? that's cuz i'm bigger than she is! she pretended to be asleep, so i went into her bed.. you can tell i'm not happy with the arrangement.
